The American craft beer Blue Moon has been gaining in popularity in Scottish bars over the past few years due to its taste and distinctive orange serve. Little had been communicated about the brand’s heritage and commitment to the arts so we were briefed to raise awareness and to drive trial.
We planned and delivered a partnership with the List magazine, taking the brand into the heart of Scotland’s vibrant arts and cultural communities. This culminated in Blue Moon’s sponsorship of the List Festival Party in August 2016 – the official ‘start’ of Edinburgh Festival season attended by 2000 cultural influencers, movers and shakers. We created a beautiful outdoor orange grove, complete with trees, lanterns and artfully-wrapped oranges in branded wooden crates….all lit by the moonlight of our twinkling ‘Blue Moon’ mapped projection in the courtyard of the party’s Summerhall venue.
